Exploring Dignity, Presence,
and the Quiet Power of the Natural World
I paint what moves me - faces, landscapes, animals,
and moments that carry quiet strength.
In six months, I have explored humanity, presence,
and the beauty in life's quiet moments.

SEEN UNSUNG HEROES
HONORING HOMELESS MILITARY VETERANS
WITH DIGNITY AND HUMANITY
These are the faces we pass every day and don’t always see.
Some of the people I paint are veterans who are currently unhoused. They’ve lived through things most of us can’t imagine, and yet there’s a quiet strength in them that deserves to be seen and remembered.
I don’t paint perfection. I paint truth, resilience, and the humanity behind every face.
If you have someone you love - a veteran, a family member, or even a moment you want captured - you can send me a photo, and I will paint it for you.
Each piece is created with care, respect, and the intention that the person in it is truly seen.
FACES OF SERVICE
Maria
Marine Corp Veteran
Currently Unhoused
Acrylic on canvas
18 × 24 inches
Gallery wrapped -ready to hang
Available $1500
Maria is a Marine Corps veteran. She’s currently unhoused, but that’s only one part of her story. When I painted her, I kept coming back to her strength-the quiet kind. Not loud, not dramatic…just solid.
She holds her hat like it still matters. Like her service still matters. And it does.
This piece isn’t about sympathy, its about recognition, Maria is a face of service.

Resilient Spirit is an in-progress piece in my Veterans Series. He’s a homeless veteran I’ve been sitting with through the painting, not just as a subject but as a presence. The face is still coming tomorrow, and that’s where the real story will land. Right now, the painting is already holding the weight of survival, endurance, and what it means to keep going when life has stripped everything else away. This is one of those pieces that reveals itself slowly.
At The Threshold
A solitary figure stands near a doorway in a muted, timeworn room - suspended between shadow and light.

About Bonnie Seide
Art has always been a quiet thread running through my life.
I am drawn to faces - to the emotion behind the eyes, the stories written in expression, the presence that makes each person entirely unique.
My work focuses on portraiture because I believe a painted portrait becomes more than an image. It becomes a legacy. A memory preserved. A moment held in time.
I also enjoy nature. The peaceful quiet of a sunset or meadow.
I currently work from my studio in Florida and accept commissioned portrait work.
